Investment Strategy
Our strategy is simple and effective:
Acquire undervalued or underdeveloped properties in prime or emerging locations.
Transform them through architectural redesign, high-end finishing, and bespoke interiors.
Add significant value by delivering homes with strong design identity and superior execution.
Sell at a premium, capitalising on the market demand for move-in-ready, design-focused properties.
This strategy reduces risk, increases predictability, and maximises return through design differentiation.
Market Opportunity
Demand for well-designed, move-in-ready homes in the Costa del Sol continues to outpace supply. Most existing properties either require full renovation or lack architectural identity.
This creates a clear opportunity:
Buyers are willing to pay a premium for homes with character, warmth, and ready-to-live quality—precisely what Ayamara delivers.
Co-Founder
Max Al-Rawi
Max grew up in the family furniture business, gaining early experience in product development, sourcing, and international manufacturing. He later co-managed a luxury dog furniture brand with his mother before shifting into his lifelong passion: real estate and design-led development.
After moving to Spain, Max purchased, renovated, and sold two apartments—one together with Patrick van Riemsdijk—which marked the beginning of larger development ambitions. Max has also project-managed multiple residential renovations for a construction company in Spain, gaining practical experience with local contractors, licensing, and technical execution.
Today Max leads:
Investment & development strategy
Architectural direction and design concepting
Project management and construction oversight
Coordination between architects, engineers, and finishing teams
Integration of custom-made furniture into each project
Max combines global furniture expertise with hands-on technical experience in Spain, ensuring each development is delivered with precision and long-term value.

Our Vision
Ayamara creates homes that stand apart—design-driven, crafted with intention, and built to a standard that outperforms anything typically found on the Costa del Sol.
Quality First
Every decision—from structure to finishing to furniture—is driven by longevity, craftsmanship, and material honesty.
A Distinctive Architectural Style
We specialise in a refined Andalusian–Japandi fusion: warm, natural, textured, minimal, and timeless. A style that stands out in a market dominated by repetitive contemporary boxes.
European-Level Execution
With an in-house Construction Manager and direct access to international furniture production, we control the entire chain and ensure: precision, durability, consistency, and higher long-term value.
Fully Integrated Design & Build
We unify architecture, construction, interiors, finishes, and furniture—resulting in cohesive, character-rich homes with a recognisable Ayamara identity.
Our goal:
To create signature homes that buyers actively seek out—properties known for their character, warmth, and uncompromising quality.
Sustainability & Materials Philosophy
We prioritise natural materials, responsible hardwood sourcing, long-lasting finishes, and energy-efficient building methods. Our approach focuses on creating homes that age beautifully rather than following fast trends.
